I update this site several times a week, so feel free to drop back regularly. And don’t forget to share what you like widely and wildly.
I discovered the Executioner’s Cottage in Salzburg, Austria by chance. It's a delightful place that looks like it’s straight out of a storybook. If I didn’t know it’s grisly and macabre history, I’d want to live there.
Golden Rock and the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, located at the top of Mt Kyaiktiyo in Myanmar, has been a site of worship for Buddhist devotees for over 2,500 years. I found viewing this truly beautiful structure to be a wonderful experience and I was deeply moved by the devotion of the faithful as I quietly observed them lighting candles, burning incense and chanting in front of the Golden Rock.
Remember the Sound Of Music and the lovely church where Maria married Baron von Trapp? During my visit and subsequent research I discovered things that watching the movie with my folks, all those years ago, couldn’t possibly have prepared me for.
The glorious Sacré Cœur is a sublime and architecturally splendid Roman Catholic church in Paris. A joy to visit, I'd rate Sacré Cœur as a must see site.
Have no doubt, China is an amazing place. There’s so much to see and so many incredible China holidays to experience across this remarkable country.
The Church Of Our Lady Bruges is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the old town of Bruges. It’s where you’ll find Michelangelo’s Madonna and Child statue.
